Moving to Tucson
The biggest question is where to land. I'll help you figure that out before you spend a dime.
I help people move here from California, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, and the Midwest, plus snowbirds who are ready to stay year-round.
Here's the order I'd tackle it in.
Plan your move in order
Know your budget
Get pre-approved early. Then decide what monthly payment you're actually comfortable with.
Pick your area
Tucson is a big city, and where you land matters more than which house you buy. East Tucson has established neighborhoods, mountain views, and Saguaro National Park East close by. Central Tucson has older homes with character near the University of Arizona and downtown. Tanque Verde (85749) has bigger lots and more space on the northeast side. Rita Ranch has newer homes in planned neighborhoods on the southeast side. Vail has newer homes and room to spread out, southeast of the city.
Plan the costs
Property taxes, HOA dues, insurance, and summer cooling bills. Get real numbers for each home you're considering.
Visit or buy remotely
If you can come out, I'll set up a focused tour so you see the right homes in a day or two. If you can't, I'll do video tours and walk you through every step from where you are.
Call me
I'll help you turn all of this into a plan.
